Mumbai: Passive investment strategies, which involve putting money into index or exchange-traded funds, are gaining popularity among investors who want to eliminate the risks of stock picking in a volatile market. The lower asset management fees on these products make them attractive to cost-conscious savers. Additionally, global investors are taking this route to gain exposure to Indian equities.
